Science Stations & Stargazing

Service Description

Educators will come to your event and lead groups through a series of experiments and demonstrations on a rotation of stations. If conditions and space allow, a dynamic, walk-through display of the solar system will be set up for visitors to explore. When the Sun goes down, our telescopes will point to the cosmos and gaze upon any visible planets, star clusters, and other objects in the night sky. Base cost includes 2 educators and 3 telescopes, with a capacity of 100 people if SSC is the host of the event. --101-200 attendees: add $200 for 1 additional educator and 2 additional telescopes --201-300 attendees: add $150 for 1 additional educator and 1 additional telescope --300+ attendees: add $125 for each additional educator per 100 people

Cancellation Policy

Booking deposits are nonrefundable. If you cancel or reschedule your event less than 7 days before your event, you will be charged a $25.00 fee. If our educators reach out to change the date due to special circumstances (i.e. weather) you will not be charged any extra fee. In the event of inclement weather, our educators will contact you to discuss and reschedule the event free of charge. No shows are not refundable in any amount, and your event will be deprioritized from our schedule until we can fit you in.
